Dr Gajanan Kanitkar is a Surgical Oncologist trained at India's largest cancer hospital - The Tata Memorial Hospital. He spent five years in Tata Memorial Hospital. He had the privilege of being a consultant at the Tata Memorial in the Gastrointestinal Service. After leaving Tata Memorial Hospital, he trained in minimally invasive or laparoscopic surgery (Keyhole surgery) for cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York and Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea.
He does all kinds of cancer surgeries. His area of interest is in Gastrointestinal cancers and Laparoscopic / Minimally Invasive surgery in cancer .
He is a consultant at Ruby Hall Clinic, Sai Shree Hospital, Joshi Hospital, Jupiter Hospital and Jehangir Hospital.
